What's new — week of Jun 29, 2026
Edit in CMSThis week we shipped improvements across newsletters, automations, audience tools, and analytics.
Newsletters
Section titled “Newsletters”- You can now set an image’s link to draw from a connected data feed, so each recipient sees a personalized destination when they click.
- Bluesky joins the social networks you can add to your channel or brand kit’s social profile settings, appearing wherever your social links show up in your newsletters.
Automations
Section titled “Automations”- A running automation now displays live counts at each step: how many subscribers are waiting in a delay, how many took each branch, how many journeys have been created and completed, and the total enrollment and completion numbers.
- You can view which subscribers are currently at — or have already passed through — any step in a running automation.
- Each email step in a running automation now shows aggregated performance: sends, deliveries, bounces, and the links readers clicked most across every run of the journey.
- You can branch an automation based on a subscriber’s profile details, tags, recent newsletter engagement, or specific link clicks, and nest conditional branches inside one another at any depth.
- You can add a tag-assignment step to any automation, regardless of what triggers it, and the step shows how many subscribers it has tagged.
- When an automation reacts to newsletter clicks, you can now narrow the trigger or condition to specific links from the newsletters in scope.
- Emails sent from an automation series now include an “Unsubscribe from this journey” link that removes a reader only from that running journey, leaving their newsletter subscription intact.
- A running automation now displays its full configuration — the newsletters and links it watches, and the criteria on each branch — without opening it for editing.
- You receive an in-app notification and email digest when your Analyze agent finishes reviewing a newsletter.
Audience
Section titled “Audience”- Every signup page and subscribe form you host is now gathered in one list, each with a live preview, embed snippet, and inline editor to adjust sections, typeface, colors, and which newsletters each section subscribes people to.
- Answers readers provide in extra fields when subscribing through your signup form now save directly to their contact record.
- You can chart how any saved segment engages over time — opens, clicks, and click-to-open plotted daily against your whole-audience baseline — and because each reader’s sign-up source is captured automatically, you can segment and analyze by where readers came from.
- Through the API, you can retrieve how much your newsletters’ audiences overlap, including shared subscriber counts for every pair and a focused breakdown of combined unique reach for any two to five newsletters.
Curations
Section titled “Curations”- Your curations now open on a single company-wide dashboard that gathers the content sources feeding every newsletter, so you can see each source alongside the newsletters it feeds, add new sources, recheck quiet ones, and remove unused ones from one place.
Promotions
Section titled “Promotions”- You can mark a company promotion to auto-inject into every send, choosing where it lands or letting it take the default spot, so it appears in the preview and delivered email without manual placement each time.
- When an AI client such as Claude Desktop is connected to Letterhead’s MCP server, you can manage your promotions in conversation: list them and their schedules, reschedule, pause, reactivate, or edit their headline, content, and link.
Analytics
Section titled “Analytics”- You can ask the AI assistant how your transactional emails are performing and it reports send counts and engagement rates grouped by tag over any date window.
- When an AI client such as Claude Desktop is connected to Letterhead’s MCP server, you can ask the assistant to set and retarget performance goals, schedule recurring metric reports to email daily, weekly, or monthly to chosen recipients, check which automations are running or paused, pull a company-wide audience performance rollup, and browse your company’s cross-channel curated content.
