What's new — week of Oct 19, 2026

Edit in CMS

Here’s what shipped this week across newsletters, audiences, and integrations.

  • When an image sits beside text, the column width slider now lets either side take anywhere from 10% to 90% of the row, where it used to stop at 20% and 80%.
  • In early access, when you create a drag and drop template, you can now start from one of Letterhead’s starter templates instead of an empty page: ready-made layouts for a weekly roundup, a breaking news alert, an event invite, a new podcast or video episode, a job board, a gift guide and more.
  • When your newsletter is ready on the preview-and-schedule step, Schedule and Send now share one split button, and the “Step N of M” counter is gone from the top of the composer.
  • When you choose Start from scratch, you now see a small picture of each editor and can type your subject line before you begin.
  • In the composer’s preview, search for any subscriber by email and see the newsletter as that person will get it, with their merge tags filled in and only the blocks they qualify for.
  • Animated GIFs in your newsletters now reach your readers’ inboxes still moving, and when a curation block crops its image, turn on Preserve Animation to keep GIFs uncropped and animated.
  • While a newsletter is going out, its row on your newsletter list shows a delivery meter that updates on its own, and your company home page has an Activity card that lists every send in flight.
  • Hover between any two blocks in a newsletter or company template and a ”+” appears to add a block exactly at that spot.
  • When you import a Google Doc into a newsletter, you now see the whole running order first and can drag blocks into the order you want before confirming.
  • In early access, your company’s automations list now shows the time of day as well as the date for each automation’s latest and next send, and a new column names the segment each automation sends to.
  • When you export your contacts, the confirmation now tells you roughly how long the file will take to reach your inbox.
  • Picking a poll answer and turning the readers who chose it into a reusable audience segment now works the same however the newsletter went out, including polls sent through Mailchimp.
