Why can't I upload an image to the image block?

Answer:

Some images have a file format the composer can’t accept. The Letterhead image block accepts any standard image file type — including common formats like JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, HEIF (a common iPhone photo format), TIFF, BMP, and AVIF — with one exception: SVG files are not supported.

If what you’re pasting is actually a web page or HTML snippet rather than an image file, the image block won’t accept it and you’ll get an error. When that happens, download the image itself to your computer from the website, then upload that file to Letterhead.

Tip: if you send through Iterable, image blocks can also display personalized images from data feeds instead of a static upload.
