How to Update the Character Limit on a Promotion Type

On the legacy organization-level flow, each promotion type has a character limit on its content, adjustable per template.

Update the limit (organization level only)

Section titled “Update the limit (organization level only)”
  1. At the Organization level, open Promotions and select Templates.
  2. Find the template you want to change and edit it.
  3. Update the content character count field to the limit you want.
  4. Click Update.

New promotions created from that template will use the new limit.
