How do I find editions by the date they published?

Edit in CMS

Once a channel has a year or two of editions behind it, finding a particular one means scrolling. If you know roughly when it went out, you can narrow the list to that stretch of the calendar instead.

The published-date filter lives in the same Filters menu as the status and tag filters on your Emails list, and works alongside them.

  1. Open Emails and choose Filters above the list.
  2. Under Published date, choose the field showing Any date. A calendar opens.
  3. Choose the first date of the stretch you want, then the last. The calendar needs both ends before it accepts the range — after your second choice it closes and shows the range you picked.
  4. Choose Apply.

Your list now shows only the editions published within that range. Both ends are included, so a range ending on the 26th includes everything that went out that day.

  • The × beside the date field clears just the date range and leaves your other filters alone. Choose Apply afterwards to update the list.
  • Clear at the bottom of the menu resets every filter at once — status and tags included.

The date range stacks with the status and tag filters rather than replacing them. So you can ask for published editions tagged “Weekly” that went out in March, and get only those. The Filters button counts the date range as one filter alongside the others, so you can see at a glance how much you’ve narrowed things down.

The filter reads each edition’s publish date — which, for an edition you’ve scheduled but not yet sent, is its send date. Choosing a range in the future is therefore a way to see what’s already lined up to go out.

The range you pick becomes part of the page address. Copy the link and a colleague opens the same filtered view, and reloading the page keeps your filter in place rather than starting over.
