Managing your notifications

Your notifications bell now opens a full notification center with your recent alerts, grouped into Today and Older. Each alert has a color-coded icon so you can see at a glance whether it’s good news, a warning, or something that needs attention.

Viewing your notification history

The notifications page (accessible from the bell icon) shows your complete alert history. You’ll see notifications about newsletters being sent, reviews requested, automations switching off, integrations breaking, new comments on your newsletters, and other key events.

Choosing which notifications you receive

The notification settings page lets you decide exactly which events trigger alerts — and whether you want them delivered in-app, by email, or both. This means you can stay informed about the things you care about (like a newsletter going out or an automation stopping unexpectedly) without being interrupted by events that don’t matter to you.

To adjust your notification preferences, open the notification settings from your account menu or the notifications page itself, then toggle the delivery method for each event type.

What notifications cover

You can receive alerts for:

• Newsletters being sent or stuck
• Review requests from team members
• Automations turning off or encountering errors
• Integration problems
• Comments added to your newsletters
• Other account and team activity

Each notification type can be configured independently, so you control the signal-to-noise ratio that works for you.

Seeing what’s new in Letterhead

Your bell may show only this item. The notification history and settings above appear where they are available to you.

You don’t have to go looking for news about Letterhead. When we’ve shipped something since you last opened What’s new, your notifications bell shows one item: “N new things since you were last here.” Select it to open What’s new, a page that lists our recent improvements, newest first, in plain language. Each one is marked New if it’s something you couldn’t do before, Improved if it makes something you already do easier, or Announcement for the bigger notices described below.

Opening What’s new clears the item from the bell until there’s something newer, so the count always runs from the last time you opened that page. The first time you use Letterhead in a browser, there’s nothing to compare against, so you won’t see an item or a pop-up. Letterhead simply notes today’s date and starts counting from there. The date is remembered in your browser, so a different browser or device counts from its own first visit.

Important announcements

For a major new feature, or a heads-up about an upcoming change, we may show a short Announcement as a pop-up the next time you open Letterhead. It stays until you dismiss it. Select Got it, or See what’s new to dismiss it and open the full list, and it won’t come back in that browser.

What’s new only lists changes that are available to everyone, so it won’t tell you about something you can’t use yet.
