Randomize curation order
Edit in CMSRandomizing the curation order ensures that when you send multiple newsletters using the same curation block, subscribers see stories in different order, improving engagement and giving equal visibility to all curated items.
Enable randomization on a curation block
Section titled “Enable randomization on a curation block”- Navigate to Dynamic Content > Curations (TODO: confirm exact path).
- Open or create a curation block.
- Look for a Sort Order, Randomize, or Shuffle option (TODO: confirm exact button label and location).
- Toggle the Randomize Order setting to On (TODO: confirm if this is a toggle, dropdown, or checkbox).
Randomization behavior
Section titled “Randomization behavior”When randomization is enabled:
- Each time the newsletter is sent, the curation block will display stories in a different random order.
- The randomization applies per subscriber or per send (TODO: confirm whether randomization varies by subscriber or by send time).
- All items in the curation remain visible; only their sequence changes.
Disable randomization
Section titled “Disable randomization”To revert to a fixed, manual ordering:
- Open the curation block settings.
- Toggle the Randomize Order setting back to Off or manually reorder items as desired.
- Save your changes.
TODO: Confirm whether randomization can be configured per block vs. globally, and whether there are options to “pin” certain items to the top while randomizing the rest.
