Style a curation block's call to action
Edit in CMSEvery curation block can invite your readers to the full story. For a long time that invitation was always a button — a solid block of color under the description. Now you can choose: keep the button, or tuck the wording onto the end of the description so it reads as part of the sentence.
This works the same way whether the block came from your curation library, a WordPress post, or an RSS feed.
Choose the style
Section titled “Choose the style”- Open your newsletter in the composer and click into a Curation block.
- In the block’s settings, open Display Options and switch on CTA Button.
- Type the wording you want in Button Content — “Read more” is the default, but “Keep reading” or “See the full recipe” often lands better.
- Under Call to action style, pick one:
- Button — the original look: your newsletter’s button color, on its own line.
- End of text — the wording becomes a link at the end of the description, flowing on from the last sentence.
Your choice is per block, so one story can lead with a button while the next ends on a quieter link.
Style the link
Section titled “Style the link”When you pick End of text, the link borrows the link styling you already set for the newsletter under Font Settings, so it matches every other link your readers see. If you want this one to stand out, you can override it for the block:
- Link color — pick any color, or start from your channel’s accent color.
- Bold, Italic, Underline — switch on any combination for extra emphasis.
The Button style keeps its own controls instead — background and text color, alignment, corner rounding, and padding. Switching between the two keeps both sets of settings, so you can try the end-of-text link and go back to the button without losing how it was set up.
An end-of-text link has no alignment of its own, because it sits at the end of the description and follows it.
What your readers see
Section titled “What your readers see”What you see in the composer is what lands in the inbox: the same wording, color, emphasis, and placement. The end-of-text link is also the lighter of the two — it joins a paragraph you were already sending rather than adding a block of its own, which helps keep your email small enough that inbox providers show the whole thing rather than cutting it short.
