How to Use Company-Level Newsletter Templates in Letterhead
Edit in CMSCompany-Level Templates let you build a newsletter layout once and share it with every channel in your organization — keeping branding consistent without rebuilding the same design per channel.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Only company admins can create and manage company-level templates.
- Shared templates appear to all channel users in the Templates section but can’t be edited there — channel users clone them instead.
Create and share a company template
Section titled “Create and share a company template”- Log in with your company admin account and open the Templates section.
- Choose Create New Template.
- Build the layout in the editor using your brand kit — colors, logos, and fonts.
- Use Preview and activate, then Preview as to see how the template renders in a specific channel’s context.
- Under Activate in Channels, pick which channels should have access.
- Click Activate to make the template available across your organization.
Customize a shared template in a channel
Section titled “Customize a shared template in a channel”Channel users can’t edit a company template directly. To customize one, click Clone from the channel’s Templates section — the copy is channel-level and fully editable. When you clone a company template, you can give the copy a custom name so it’s easy to find later.
Who can create and manage company-level templates? Only company admins.
Can templates be previewed before sharing? Yes — admins can preview a template in the context of any channel before activating it.
Can channel users edit shared company templates? No, but they can clone them and modify the copy freely.
