Preview your company dashboard with sample data

If you’re new to Letterhead or want to demonstrate dashboard features before you have live performance data, you can preview your company dashboard with sample data.

How to enable sample data

  1. Open your company dashboard.
  2. Find the sample data toggle in the page header.
  3. Turn it on to replace all live metrics with pre-populated sample data.

When sample data mode is active, all dashboard sections display placeholder metrics:

  • Operational Pulse — sample send and delivery performance
  • Portfolio Health — sample engagement trends across newsletters
  • Active Engagement — sample open and click metrics
  • Audience Metrics — sample subscriber growth and activity

Your preference is saved automatically and persists across sessions, so the dashboard keeps showing sample data until you turn the toggle off.

When to use sample data

  • Getting started — explore the interface and understand what metrics Letterhead tracks before you send your first newsletter.
  • Demos and training — show stakeholders what insights the dashboard provides without exposing real performance data.
  • Planning — understand the analytics available as you set up your newsletter strategy.

Turn off the toggle at any time to return to your live metrics.
